Defining Private and Practice Filters for Completed Results

To more efficiently manage your completed test results, you can create private and practice filters. You can easily add tests, update tests, and delete tests from these filters. For example, you may want to create a private filter for confidential tests or to display specific test results for a clinical problem such as diabetes.

To create a practice filter, you must have permission for Allow Updating Practice Filters set in System Administrator > Enterprise > Practice > Security Group > Rights > Operations > Orders.

To create a private filter, the Allow Providers to Maintain Favorites practice preference must be selected in File Maintenance > Practices Preferences > Orders Module > Lab/Rad.
