Check Order History

When you select a laboratory or diagnostic order item for a patient, you can view the patient's treatment history to determine if the same order item was ordered in the past. Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) checks for an identical CPT® code in the Orders module's Results section.
  1. Open CPOE.
  2. Select an order item.
  3. Assign a diagnosis to the selected order item.
  4. To check the order history of the selected order item, do one of the following:
    • In the All tab, under Past Result, select the View link corresponding to the order item.
    • Select the Laboratory or Diagnostic tab, and then select the View link under Past Result, corresponding to the order item.
    The Review Patient Results window opens.
