Add Orders Summary Filter Descriptions for Lab and Radiology Tests

  1. To open the Set Orders Summary Filters window if it is closed, do one of the following:
    • On the Filters bar in the Orders panel of the Orders Summary tab, select the filter you created and applied or saved, and then select Manage Filters.
    • On the Filters bar in your custom Practice template with an Orders Management order control, select the filter you created and applied or saved, and then select Manage Filters.
  2. On the Set Orders Summary Filters window, select the Data 3 tab.

  3. Do the following in the Enter test description to filter section:
    • To add a test description, enter the description in the first text box, and select Add Test.
    • The test description appears in the second text box.
    • To update the test description, select it, and then select Update Test.

      Edit the description.

    • To delete the test description, select it, and then select Delete Test.
  4. To filter tests by the exact test description, select the Match exact names only check box.
  5. To apply or save and apply the filter, select Apply or Save All & Apply.
