You can perform tasks for various types of equipment reports, such as generating, viewing, faxing, comparing, and deleting. IEM User Interface Versions Two versions of the Integrated Equipment Module are available to support different levels of Midmark equipment. Attaching Equipment Report PDFs

You can configure the NextGen Enterprise EHR Equipment Reports module to automatically attach a Midmark, Hillrom Welch Allyn, or Hillrom HeartCentrix (former Cardiac Science) report in PDF format to a patient encounter when the equipment report is acquired or modified, therefore keeping the report PDF in-sync with the equipment report. You can control this feature with the Equipment > Store PDF Report on Equipment Report Modify option in System Administrator Universal Preferences. Equipment report PDFs can be saved only for Hillrom™ HeartCentrix® (former Cardiac Science), Hillrom™ Welch Allyn® , and Midmark equipment reports. PDFs cannot be saved for GE® CardioSoft equipment reports. Optionally, you can configure the Integrated Equipment module to also save equipment report PDFs in categories on the Categories tab. You can fax equipment report PDFs, send equipment report PDFs to NextGen® PxP Portal, and delete report PDFs from patient encounters. Note: To generate equipment reports in

Acquiring and Viewing Data Collected by Medical Equipment

On the Integrated Equipment Module (IEM), you can acquire and view data collected by medical diagnostic equipment manufactured by Midmark Diagnostics, Hillrom™ Welch Allyn® , Hillrom™ HeartCentrix® (former Cardiac Science), and General Electric. Note: The diagnostic cardiology product line that was originally manufactured byCardiac Science®, was later sold to Mortara Instrument, then Welch Allyn® , then Hillrom™ . This product line includes theBurdick™andQuinton™brands. In this guide, these devices are referred to as " Hillrom™ HeartCentrix® (former Cardiac Science)" devices. When you perform a test, such as an ECG, on a patient using an interfaced medical equipment, the IEM acquires data from the device and can generate a PDF report that can be viewed in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, sent to NextGen® PxP Portal, and viewed in NextGen® Mobile.
