Access External Provider Reference from the Problems Module

You can access the External Provider Reference resource and search for additional information regarding the selected problem from the Problems module.

  1. Open the Problems module for a patient.
  2. Enter a new problem in the Problem List tab or the Billing ICD List tab, if required.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click the problem, and then select Resources > External Provider Reference.
    • Select the problem, and then select Resources > External Provider Reference from the Problems module toolbar.

      The application directs you to the external URL you set up in your practice preference or user preference.
