NextGen® Document Management

Select
Reports
, and then select the report that you want to generate.
The corresponding report filter window opens.
In the
Settings List
section, select the tabs, and then configure the columns, filters, sorting order, and any additional criteria for the report.
To configure how the report calculates totals, select
Totals
.
To customize the number display and print options for the report, select
Options
.
To customize the report header and footer, select
Head/Foot
.
To save the selected criteria, select
Save
.
Select
OK
.
The report is generated based on the selected criteria.

Access NextGen® Document Management Reports from NextGen Enterprise PM
You can access NextGen® Document Management reports from NextGen® Enterprise PM. Note: NextGen® Document Management memorized reports are available in NextGen® Enterprise PM, but not available in NextGen® Document Management. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the toolbar, select Reports, and then select Document Management.The list of available NextGen® Document Management reports opens. Select the report that you want to generate. Memorize the Report Parameters
Memorizing a report saves only the parameters of the report, not the actual data. You can memorize NextGen® Document Management report filter criteria. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Generate a report. On the toolbar, select Report Filter. Select the applicable tabs, set the report filter criteria, and then select OK.This functionality works the same as the other reports in the application. The report regenerates based on the filter criteria. On the toolbar, select Memorize Report.The Memorize Report window opens. In Save As, enter the report name, and then select the applicable type of report. In Allowed to Run, select the user allowed to run this report. Select a user to run the report, modify the report, and save the report. Select OK.The report criteria is memorized. Parent topic: Generating Reports

Generating Reports
You can generate the following NextGen® Document Management reports: Reports Description Batch Status Displays the status of all the batches. Batch statuses are set up, and are selected by default in Filter 1. Note: The Bch Nbr column is selected by default to pull the batch number into the batch status report from the NextGen Report Filter: Batch Status window. You can filter the batch status report for a specific batch number or a range of batch numbers. Productivity - Filed Displays the documents that are filed, but not posted, and have index values associated with them. Filed report is a subset of scanned report. Productivity - Scanned Displays all the documents in the system based on the status selected in Filter 1. Provider Signature (PAQ) Displays the documents that are not signed. You can also view the pending and accepted documents by changing the filter statuses in Filter 1. Set Up Operation Rights for Generating Reports
You can configure which user groups can generate NextGen® Document Management reports from NextGen® Document Management and NextGen® Enterprise PM. Open System Administrator. Select a user group, and then select the Rights tab. In Master Files, select System, PM, or Document Management, and then select Practices. The Practices List window opens. In the Practices list, double-click a practice. The Modify Practice Information window opens. Select Preferences. The Practice Preferences window opens. In Preferences List, select Imaging. Expand OPERATIONS, and then expand Reports. Select Doc Mgmt, and then in the Access Rights section, select Yes.
