Reports

Document Management
.
The list of available
NextGen® Document Management
reports opens.
Select the report that you want to generate.

Generate NextGen Document Management Reports
Open NextGen® Document Management. Select Reports, and then select the report that you want to generate. The corresponding report filter window opens. In the Settings List section, select the tabs, and then configure the columns, filters, sorting order, and any additional criteria for the report. To configure how the report calculates totals, select Totals. To customize the number display and print options for the report, select Options. To customize the report header and footer, select Head/Foot. To save the selected criteria, select Save. Select OK. The report is generated based on the selected criteria. Viewing the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Memorized Reports
You must have access to view and run the NextGen® Enterprise EHR reports. If you do not have necessary permissions to run a memorized NextGen® Enterprise report, the report will not appear in Cohorts. The access permission for a memorized report is provided in NextGen® Enterprise EHR when saving a memorized report. Create Memorized Reports
Depending on whether you want to create a NextGen® Enterprise or NextGen® Enterprise PM report, set up the report by defining the columns and filters to produce the desired format and results. Note: If you want to open the NextGen® Enterprise PM reports in NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, then you must ensure to create only the patient level NextGen® Enterprise PM memorized reports. Ensure the report meets your requirements, select Save on the Report Filter. If you want to verify the report prior to saving, run the report. Review the report, and then select Memorize Report . The Memorize Report window opens. Note: Save results for notification does not appear when memorizing NextGen® Enterprise PM reports. In Save As, enter the name of your report. If you are changing an existing memorized report, the original information automatically appears. In Report Type, select a report type. NextGen® Enterprise PM and NextGen Enterprise Memorized Reports
After you set up a report with the filters that best fit your practice, you can save the memorized report settings so that they are available for use again. You do not have to run the report to memorize it. Memorizing a report saves the report parameters, not the actual data. Each time you run the memorized report, the report format remains the same but it always contains the current information from the database. NextGen® Enterprise PM memorizes date ranges in different ways, depending on the following criteria: If you use criteria like current month or month to date, then NextGen® Enterprise PM uses your server's current date to set the date range. This is referred to as a smart date. If you enter a custom date, then NextGen® Enterprise PM remembers that date and uses it to pull the report data. Both NextGen® Enterprise PM and NextGen® Enterprise EHR reports can be memorized. Once memorized, you can run a report from the list of memorized reports without the need to reconfigure the r

Set Up Operation Rights for Generating Reports
You can configure which user groups can generate NextGen® Document Management reports from NextGen® Document Management and NextGen® Enterprise PM. Open System Administrator. Select a user group, and then select the Rights tab. In Master Files, select System, PM, or Document Management, and then select Practices. The Practices List window opens. In the Practices list, double-click a practice. The Modify Practice Information window opens. Select Preferences. The Practice Preferences window opens. In Preferences List, select Imaging. Expand OPERATIONS, and then expand Reports. Select Doc Mgmt, and then in the Access Rights section, select Yes. Document Management Reports
The Document Management reports category includes various reports that you can use to review information related to scanning and filing documents and images for patients in your practice. The reports can help you monitor and manage a variety of internal processes and workflows in NextGen® Document Management.
