File	Description
Stored Procedure Name	Enter the name of the stored procedure you want the job to run.
Stored Procedure Parameters	Click the ellipsis button and enter the parameter name and values in the Stored Procedures window. Click OK when finish entering parameters.
Job runtime alert setting (minutes)	Indicate the number of minutes you want the application to wait before sending out a job runtime alert email.
Job runtime alert email	Enter the email address of the person or persons to whom the application sends the job runtime alert.

Stored Procedure Job

You can create a job within NextGen® Background Business Processor that automatically executes a stored procedure during the times the package is scheduled to run. Each Stored Procedure job can run only one stored procedure. If you want a package to execute more than one stored procedure, you must create a job for each stored procedure. Create NextGen® Background Business Processor Jobs

Open or create a package. Select the Jobs tab. Select the Open Menu button on the Package Properties window and select New.The Job Properties window displays. Enter a name for the job in the Job name field and select the job type from the list in the Job type field. In the Run as practice field, select the practice for which you want to send collection letters. Run NextGen® Background Business Processor Jobs Individually

If a job within a package fails, you can run that job (or several jobs) individually without having to run all the jobs that are contained within the package. Open the Package Properties window for the package that contains the job (or jobs) that you want to run. Select the Jobs tab. Place a check mark in the Run Once check box for the job or jobs that you want to run. Select OK on the Package Properties window. Right-click on the package in the Package List and select Queue Now from the drop-down menu. The application runs one or more jobs that you selected in the package. Create Packages

A package is a container that holds all the jobs that you want to execute for a specific schedule. Select New from the Packages menu on the NextGen® Background Business Processor Manager main toolbar.The Package Properties window opens. Enter a name for the package in the Package name field. Set a priority for the package in the Priority field. Note: At this time, the priority settings are not used by NextGen® Background Business Processor. Leave the Priority setting value at 1.
