Configure Enterprise and Practice

Each NextGen® Background Business Processor package you set up applies to a specific enterprise and practice. You can change the enterprise and practice to which the NextGen® Background Business Processor package that you created belongs. Select File > Change Practice to access the Change Practice window. When first accessed, the Change Practice window displays the currently active enterprise and practice. From the drop-down list for each field on the window, select the enterprise and practice for which you want to create or modify scheduled packages. Configure the NextGen® Background Business Processor to Process a Package Immediately

You can quickly create a one-time package schedule for the NextGen® Background Business Processor application to process immediately. Highlight the package in the Package List. Do one of the following: Right-click and select Queue Now from the short-cut menu. Select Queue Now from the Packages menu on the NextGen® Background Business Processor main menu bar.

You can change the enterprise and practice that NextGen® Document Management accesses. Open NextGen® Document Management. On the toolbar, select Tasks, and then select Change Practice. The Practice Change window opens. Select either a new enterprise, a new practice, or both. The practices available depend on the enterprise you select. Select OK. Change Job Sequence

NextGen® Background Business Processor processes jobs in the order they are listed in the package. You can change the order in which NextGen® Background Business Processor processes jobs within a package by rearranging the sequence of the package job listing. Select the Jobs tab on the Package Properties window. Highlight the job you want to change. Do one of the following: Select one of the arrow buttons to move its location in the list. Select the Open Menu button and select either Move Up or Move Down.
