Configure Abortion History Codes
You can configure additional SNOMED codes associated with abortion, as needed, and set rules to each code as to whether the findings must be submitted to the Past Medical/Surgical history grid. On the Data Sets Setup template, click the Data Set field, select AB History Codes, and then click OK. Data Sets Setup template Do one of the following: Click Add to add a new code. AB History Codes Data Set
The AB History Codes data set stores SNOMED codes and descriptions pertinent to abortion focused medical histories. You can configure additional SNOMED codes associated with abortion, as needed, and set rules for each code as to whether findings must be submitted to the Past Medical/Surgical history grid. The SNOMED code that you configure is available on the Encounter Based - AB Focused Medical Questionnaire panel of the AB Intake template. Patient's Family History
You can document the family history of the patient in the Family panel on the Histories template. The Quality button appears on the Family panel and the Family Health History template which enables you to open the First degree relative information template. The No relevant family history check box indicates that the patient has reported no family medical history in the current (today’s) encounter. The Adopted - no family history known check box indicates if the patient is adopted and medical history details of the biological family are unknown. The template enables you to document individual medical conditions and grouped medical conditions of patient's family. View Run-Time Result of Mapping SNOMED Code with the Diabetic Eye Exam Procedure
Before you view the run-time result, ensure to add new codes to the Ophthalmology Exams category, if available. Else, create a new category for Ophthalmology Exam, and then add the new codes. In the run-time Intake template, select Specialty as Ophthalmology and Visit Type as Office Visit. Click the Standing Orders link. The Office Services template opens. In the Diagnostic History Entry panel, click Diagnostic study type and then select Ophthalmology Exams from the resulting list. Click Diagnostic Study and select Intermediate eye exam, established patient from Service Item Mstr dbpicklist. The Procedure code automatically appears. Click Date performed and select a date from the calendar. Document other details, if required. Click Add to Grid. The SNOMED code that is mapped to the selected procedure code in the Quality Reporting Order Findings xref data set is updated in the database to get the Quality Reporting credit. Family Health History Conditions
The Family History panel enables you to select the applicable family health history conditions for a specific specialty and/or practice. The family health history conditions are configured in the Condition and Management Configuration panel. For information on how to configure conditions, see Condition and Management SNOMED Codes. Configuring Medical, Surgical and Family History
This document provides information on how to configure the specialty-specific medical history, surgical history, and family health history content. The Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template enables you to configure a list of medical, surgical and family health conditions, and management items that are associated with the SNOMED (Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine) codes. In run time, the configured conditions and management items appear in the Past Medical History and Family Health History templates. In the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template, you can configure different types of conditions as described in the table.
