Add PE Copy Forward Excluded Data Set Items

On the Data Sets Setup template, click Data Set and select PE Copy Forward Excluded. The existing data set items associated with the PE Copy Forward Excluded data set appear in the grid. PE Copy Forward Excluded data set Click Add. The Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template opens. Template Data Sets Setup If applicable, click Diagnosis description to search and select a diagnosis. The associated diagnosis code automatically appears. If applicable, click Provider and select a provider from the resulting list. In Specialty, enter the specialty. In Template Name, enter the name of the template used for physical examination. In Field Name, enter the name of the field that is required to be excluded when you copy forward details. Click Save, and then click Close. View the Last Physical Exam

The View Last Exam link opens the Last Physical Exam - Musculoskeletal template. This template includes the physical findings documented in the previous encounter. Open the SOAP template. In the Physical Exam panel, click One Page Exam in the left pane. The General Exam - PE template opens. Click the View Last Exam link. Document a Multi System Orthopedic Exam

Open the SOAP template. In the Physical Exam panel, click One Page Exam in the left pane. The General Exam - PE template opens. In Location, click the region of injury from the Ort Regions list. In Quick exams, select the appropriate check boxes and click the corresponding field to display the Td Dbp Filter list. Select Normal from the Td Dbp Filter list. The respective fields in the General Exam - PE template are filled with the normal values. Select the diagnosis codes in the Dx1 or Dx2 fields. Click the corresponding Status field to select the status of each diagnosis. Click OK. You can document the complete physical examination details of a patient on the SOAP template. The One Page Exam link opens a gender-specific or a gender-neutral, one-page physical exam template. Based on the configuration in the Physical Exam panel of the Framework Content system template and the selection of the Enable Gender Neutral PE check box on the Practice Configuration template, the gender-specific or a gender-neutral, one-page physical exam template opens.
