Update the Patient Checkout Status

After you complete a patient's checkout process, you can update the status on the Todays Patient Tracking template.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Select a patient record.
  3. On the Patient Information Card, select the Patient Tracking button.
    The Todays Patient Tracking template opens with the status and location of the patient during the encounter.
  4. In Status, select Checked out.
  5. Select Save & Close.
