Manage the My Plan Tab Caption and Template Name

You can update or remove a My Plan tab caption for a specialty, practice, or provider using the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content system template. Select a specialty, practice, or provider. Click the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration panel. Select a row that represents a tab on the My Plan template. To select a different row, click Clear. In this example, the Family Practice specialty grid has a Labs tab on the My Plan template. The grid shows the caption, the mapped template name, and the sort order. Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration To remove the caption, click the Caption field and remove or update the text. To modify a template name, do one of the following: To remove the template name, click the field and click Clear. To update the template name, click in the field and select a template. Modify the Sequence of the My Plan Tab

You can change the sequence of the tabs that appear on the My Plan template using the Sort Order option. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content system template. Select a speciality, practice, or provider. Click the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration panel. In the specialty, practice, or provider grid, select a row that represents a tab on the My Plan template. The details about the tab appears in the Caption, Template Name, and Sort Order fields. Note: In this example, if you select the My Plan row item, the sort order appears as 2. That is, the My Plan tab is the second tab. Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration To select a different row, click Clear. To remove the template mapping for a selected caption, click in the Template Name field and then click the Clear link. Click in the Sort Order field and then select a number. In this example, to set the My Plan tab as the last tab, select 8. Click Update. The tab sequence has been modified, showing the My Plan

The Assessment / Plan Navigation Configuration panel enables you to create or update dynamic My Plan templates based on practice or provider. You can also update the captions, templates, and sequence of the tabs. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content template. Click the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration panel. The default configuration for the selected specialty, practice, and provider appears in all the specialty and practice grids in the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration. In the grid, select an item. To move one or more items from the specialty grid to the provider or practice grid, click to move one item at a time and click to move all items at once. To update the My Plan template layout, you must first select a specialty, practice, and provider on the Framework Content system template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content system template. To modify a specialty, practice, or provider, do one of the following: specialty, practice, or provider To update the specialty, select a specialty. To update the practice, select a specialty and a practice. To update the provider, select a specialty, a practice, and a provider. You can configure the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration panel. From the Assessment/Plan Navigation Configuration panel, you can do the following on the My Plan template: Enable a dynamic My Plan template based on specialty, practice, and provider. Modify captions, templates, and sequences of tabs. Remove tabs that are not required for your specialty, practice, and provider. View the layout in run-time based on your selected configuration. Switch between a customized tab to a core tab. You can view the following eight default tabs in specialty, practice, and provider grids of the My Plan template. Add Assessments or Plans

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template. Click the Assessment/Plan panel. From the left pane, click an assessment category link. The diagnosis search window displays a list of diagnoses for the category selected. Select an appropriate diagnosis and then click Select. The diagnosis has been added to and displayed in the grid with the letter “D” and lines for A and P. Assessment/Plan Panel Click the A row in the grid for a diagnosis.
