Update Order Results on the Order Management Template

You can update order results on the Order Management Template.

1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. On the Home Page template, in the Orders panel, select the Order Management link.
   The Order Management template opens.
3. In the grid, select the order to update.
   The selected order details appear in the Manage Selected Orders section.
4. Select Edit.
   The All Order Management template opens.

   

5. Enter the order details in the applicable fields.
   if you have selected the Bone X-ray (Bone Age Studies) order with the 77072 procedure code, you can add the bone age test result in the Result/report section.
6. After making changes in the Result/report section, select Update.
   Note: The Update button appears when you make changes to the Interpretation or the Result details field.
7. Select Save, and then select Close to return to the Order Management template.
8. Select the order again.
   The modified details appear in the Manage selected order section.
9. In the Manage selected order section, update the Status field and associated details.
10. Select Action/comment and select the relevant comment for the order.
    Note: If the appropriate option is not available, you can select the blank row in the list, and enter the value in the Action/comment field.
11. Select Save.
    The order details appear in the Order status detail/actions grid.
