You can update order results on the Order Management Template.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- On the Home Page template, in the Orders panel, select the Order Management link.
The Order Management template opens.
- In the grid, select the order to update.
The selected order details appear in the Manage Selected Orders section.
- Select Edit.
The
All Order Management template opens.
- Enter the order details in the applicable fields.
if you have selected the Bone X-ray (Bone Age Studies) order with the 77072 procedure code, you can add the bone age test result in the Result/report section.
- After making changes in the Result/report section, select Update.
Note: The Update button appears when you make changes to the Interpretation or the Result details field.
- Select Save, and then select Close to return to the Order Management template.
- Select the order again.
The modified details appear in the Manage selected order section.
- In the Manage selected order section, update the Status field and associated details.
- Select Action/comment and select the relevant comment for the order.
Note: If the appropriate option is not available, you can select the blank row in the list, and enter the value in the Action/comment field.
- Select Save.
The order details appear in the Order status detail/actions grid.
