Map Template Medication to GCN

You can map template medication to a generic code number (GCN) in the Data Sets Setup practice template. Open the Data Sets Setup practice template. In the Data Sets field, select Med GCN Mapping and then click Add. The Template Data Sets Setup - [New Record] template opens. Template Data Sets Setup Select an FDB Med name. The corresponding GCN and dose are automatically filled. In the Template Med Name field, enter the medication name used in the run-time template and then click Save. Remove Medication Billing Data Set Items

On the Data Sets Setup template, click Data Set, select Medication Billing from the resulting list and then click OK. Click the Qualifier field and select the required data set item from the resulting list. Highlight the required record in the grid to remove and click Remove. Edit Health Promotion Plan Data Set Items

On the Data Sets Setup template, click Data Set and select Health Promotion Plan. The existing data set items associated with the Health Promotion Plan data sets appear in the grid. Highlight a grid to modify. Click Update. The Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template opens. Make the necessary changes in the applicable fields. Click Save and then click Close. Edit Nebulizer Treatment Data Set Items

On the Data Sets Setup template, click Data Set and select Nebulizer Treatment. The existing data set items associated with the Nebulizer Treatment data set appear in the grid.
