Problems
module.
On the
Practice Configuration
template, scroll to the
OB Problems
section.
Select
Enable Add to Problems module
.
Scroll to the top right and then click
Save and Close

Update Obstetric Problems
On the Prenatal Detail template, expand the OB Problems panel and then select Add/Update. The OB Problem Add template opens. In the OB Problems pane on the left, select the problem that you need to update. Make the necessary changes. Select Add/Update. The problem in the OB Problems pane is updated with the changes made. Add Obstetric Problems
On the OB Problem Add template, you can add or update a patient’s obstetric (OB) problems, submit a problem to the Problems module, and move a problem to today’s assessment. The Associate Meds link enables you to view the active medications and associated diagnoses and update the diagnoses for an active medication. For more information on associated medications, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Getting Started User Guide forNextGen®Adaptive Content Engine. On the Prenatal Detail template, expand the OB Problems panel and select Add/Update. The OB Problem Add template opens. Select Add New. A diagnoses window opens displaying a list of common OB problems. OB problems search window Search for and select the OB problem. The Diagnosis description field on the OB Problem Add template is filled with the selected diagnosis. Select the assessment status and priority. Mark an Obstetric Problem as Inactive or Resolved
On the Prenatal Detail tab, expand the OB Problems panel and select Add/Update. The OB Problem Add template opens. Under OB Problems, select an OB problem that you want to mark as inactive or resolved. Select Inactive problem/resolved. Select Add/Update. Parent topic: Obstetric Problems

Select the Enable Order Module Setting

Update Obstetric Problem Notes
On the Prenatal Detail template, expand the OB Problems panel, select Add/Update. The OB Problem Add template opens. Select the OB problem, and then select Lab and Diagnostic Review. The Lab and Diagnostic Review template opens. Modify the obstetric problem notes. You can also remove any problem note. Select Add Update Note. Select OK. Add Diagnosis from Today’s Assessment to Obstetric Problems List
The Today’s Assessment grid displays all diagnoses from a patient's current encounter. You can select a relevant obstetric (OB) problem diagnosis from today’s assessment and move it to the patient’s current OB problems list. On the Prenatal Detail template, expand the OB Problems panel and select Add/Update. The OB Problem Add template opens. In the Today’s Assessment section, select the diagnosis that you want to add to the OB problems list. Select Send to OB Problems. Select the assessment status and priority. To add an OB problem to the Problems module, select Add to Problems Module, and then the relevant SNOMED code on the resulting window. To add notes, select 'Date Stamp' Note and then enter your notes. Note: The date stamp inserts the current date and the username. Select Add/Update.
