Set Up User Security Groups

You can set up user security groups for cardiology templates using the System Setup Preferences system template.

Setting up user security groups is a one-time setup applied before using the templates for the first time. If you are already running earlier versions and have set up security groups, you do not need to repeat this procedure.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Open System \ Practice Template
  3. On the System tab, double-click System Setup Preferences.
  4. In the Cardiology section, click the Enterprise field.

    The CARD Udp Practices window appears.
  5. From the CARD Udp Practices list, select an enterprise and click OK.
    The associated practice appears in Practice.
  6. Click Create groups.
    The cardiology security groups have been added to System Administrator.
