You can add appointment locations that are outside your practice by location type, such as office, hospital, testing, and lab.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- Open System / Practice Template.
- On the Practice tab, double-click Card Setup Appt Locations.
The Card Setup Appt Locations opens.
- To associate an appointment location to a type, select a type, such as Office, Hospital, Testing, and Lab.
You can select one or more types.
- In the top row of the APPOINTMENT LOCATIONS template, enter the appointment location details.
- Click Add.
Note: Appointment locations are not packaged with the system and therefore must be configured.
