Viewing Exceptions and Measures

You can manage exceptions and view measure details on the Exceptions/Measures template. You can open the Exceptions/Measures template from the navigation bar or from the CPT II Claims Based Reporting panel on the Finalize template. You can view the following types of exceptions and measures on the Exception/Measures template: Registry-based measures Procedure coded measures Custom data mapping Exception/Measures For information on how to address specific measures, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest guides for NextGen® HQM. Viewing Registry-Based Measures You can view the status and explanation of a selected registry-based measure on the top section of the Exceptions/Measures template. Custom Data Mapping

You can report the data fields for newly added measures that are not currently available in the system. You can enter variable data for reporting purposes at runtime. Your system is delivered with a defined set of measures and code mappings using which you can immediately report for new measures that are not supported by the system. In addition, you can add measure and code mappings as needed to meet the new reporting requirements. On the Coded Results Mapping template, in the Certification Custom Data Mapping panel, you can do the following: Configure custom mapping for fields with the data values that need to be captured for reporting the new measures. Enable the data to be added on a template after the upgrade. When configured, providers can enter custom data for reporting the measures in the Custom Data Mappings panel on the Exceptions/Measures template. Custom Reports

Report Filter allows you to generate, view and print custom created reports. Reports could be built for either a specific practice (that you used to logon to the application) or a specific enterprise (that you used to logon to the application). Note: To create and generate NextGen® Enterprise EHR reports, there must be report types set up in File Maintenance. For the availability of report types, refer to your practice's System Administrator. Coded Results Mapping for the Improved Claim-Based Measures Reporting

In the Coded Results Mapping template, you can map specific template field values to specific coded values to ensure accurate quality measure reporting. This function provides a flexible and scalable solution that delivers real-time codification for NextGen® HQM supported measures, as well as for claims- and registry-based reporting. Coded Results Mapping has the following benefits. Configure the Default Visit Specialty Mapping

You can map the providers to a default specialty. You can also create multiple mappings based on the practice and location. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content system template. Click the Default Visit Specialty panel. In the grid, select a row. The provider, practice, location, and default visit specialty fill the fields above the grid. Select the Practice field. Select the Location field. Select the Default Visit Specialty field. To save the selected options, click Update. To view the default visit specialties mapped to all the rendering providers at the practice, click the filter by practice field. To view the default visit specialties mapped to the rendering provider, click the filter by provider field. Save and close the template.
