Update Patient Care Team
You can update status, active and inactive details, and member details of a patient care team. From the Care Team Members template, in the Patient Care Team section, filter by the care team name and select a care team from the Care Team Details grid. The details of care team and its members appear in the corresponding fields. To update the care team details, edit the status and/or active and inactive dates. To update the care team member details, edit the status and/or active and inactive dates, and role or function. Note: If the participant type is Other, then you can edit a member's address details from the Care Team Configuration template. Click Update. Open the Care Team Members Template
The Care Team Members template is accessible through a Care Team link which is available on Intake, Histories, SOAP, Finalize, and Checkout templates. Open a patient encounter and then select a specialty and a visit type. From the Intake template, click the Care Team link. The Care Team Members template opens. Patient Care Team Information
The Care Team Members template consolidates information on all patient care teams defined for a patient. The patient care team can include clinical professionals, clinical pharmacists, agencies, organizations, relatives who act as care givers, and any other individual involved directly or indirectly with the care of the patient. This consolidated information provides a comprehensive and up-to-date list of a patient’s care team members and meets Stage 3 Quality Reporting Certification for 2017. The list includes patient care team members that have been entered throughout NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine and also the members that have been added using the NPI Registry Search window. However, members added using the Care Team Members template only appear on the Care Team Members template and are shared with the Patient Care Team panel on the Care Plan template. Remove Practice Care Team Member
From the Care Team Configuration template, search for a care team member. From the Practice Care Team Details grid, select a team member and then click Remove. The member has been removed from the practice care team. Parent topic: Care Team Configuration

Filter Patient Care Teams and Members
Open the Care Team Members template. From the Filter by team name list, select a team. The patient care team and member details appear in the Care Team Details grid. To filter member details based on the status of the care team member, select the status from the Filter by status list. The member details appear in the Individual Care Team Members Details grid.
