Set Up Categories for Order Types or Picklists

You can create a new category of order items for an order type based on the specialty. On the Assessment Plan Customization template, Order Sets (My Plan/CustomPlan) DBPicklists section, select the Specialty List display filter. Right-click anywhere in the grid and select Add New. The FC Orders template opens. Select to select from the resulting list or type new information in the fields. Note: When you select an option from the Description field, the associated code is displayed in the Code field. Select Save, and then select Close to return to the Assessment Plan Customization template. In the Order Sets (My Plan/CustomPlan) DBPicklists section, select Save & Close. Edit Full List of Order Set Picklists

In the Assessment Plan Customization template, Order Sets (My Plan/CustomPlan) DBPicklists data grid, select the Full List option. Double-click an order type in the grid.The Treatment Plan Dbp template opens. Make the required changes in the fields. Select Save, and then select Close to return to the Assessment Plan Customization template. In the Order Sets (My Plan/CustomPlan) DBPicklists section, select Save & Close. Edit Order Type Categories

In the Assessment Plan Customization template, Order Sets (My Plan/CustomPlan) DBPicklists data grid, select the Specialty List option. Double-click a specialty in the grid.The FC Orders template opens. Make the required changes in the fields. Select Save, and then select Close to return to the Assessment Plan Customization template. Add Categories of Service Items in the Master DB Picklist

On the Assessment Plan Customization template, Order Sets (My Plan/CustomPlan) DBPicklists section, select the Full List display option. Right-click and select Add New. The Treatment Plan Dbp template opens. Select and/or type new information in the fields. Note: When you select an option from the Category field, the associated code is displayed in the Category Description field. Select Save, and then select Close to return to the Assessment Plan Customization template. In the Order Sets (My Plan/CustomPlan) DBPicklists section, select Save & Close. Remove an Order Set

On the Assessment Plan Customization template, choose a Display option to filter the grid under the Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section by the Current provider or All providers. Depending on how you configured the order set, select the Diagnosis Group, Provider, and/or Dept fields to select a value from the resulting list. Highlight the order set row in the grid to be deleted. Select Remove. Select Save & Close. Parent topic: Create a New Order Set

Update an Order Set

On the Assessment Plan Customization template, choose a Display option to filter the grid under the Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section by the Current provider or All providers. Depending on how you configured the order set, select the Diagnosis Group, Provider, and/or Dept fields to select a value from the resulting list. Double-click the order set to be modified in the Order Sets (My Plan / Custom Plan) grid. The Provider's Custom Plan template opens with the items included in the selected order set filled in for the different order types. Make the required changes to the displayed order set. Select Save, and then select Close.The updated data displays in the grid. In the Order Sets (My Plan / Custom Plan) section of the Assessment Plan Customization template, select Save & Close.
