Patient Tracking in the Provider Workflow
You can update the patient tracking details using the Patient Tracking on the Patient Information Card (PIC).
You can select the Patient Tracking button on the Patient Information Card (PIC) and update the tracking details on the Todays Patient Tracking template. Patient Tracking is available only when the patient has an active encounter dated Today. For all other encounters, the Patient Tracking button appears as New Encounter.
You can hover over the Patient Tracking button to view a quick summary of the patient tracking records for the visit on the PIC.
Before starting the patient assessment on the SOAP template, you can indicate that the patient is with the provider by changing the status to with provider in the Todays Patient Tracking template. When the patient assessment is completed, you can change the status to ready for check-out.
