Add an Aldrete Score
Click Add to open the ASC - Aldrete Score template. ASC - Aldrete Score The ASC - Aldrete Score template allows you to generate either the modified Aldrete score or full Aldrete score. Do one of the following: Enter Time of the entry or click the clock to populate the current time in the Time field. Click the drop-down arrow next to the Time field to open the Time Entry window. Enter the time using the numeric-key pad and click OK. Select appropriate options in the template. When you select an option, the Aldrete Score automatically calculates and displays in the respective fields below the options. The system automatically fills the options selected on the left-side of the template to display the Aldrete score in the Modified Aldrete Post Anesthetic Recovery Score field. If you select any options on the right-side of the template, the system fills the full Aldrete score automatically in the Aldrete Post Anesthetic Recovery Score Modified for Ambulatory Anesthesia field and clears the

Aldrete Score Panel on the ASC - Preprocedure Template
The Aldrete Score panel is used to document the stage of care and general patient state of being. Aldrete Score is documented when anesthesia is given to the patient. The Aldrete Score panel displays the Aldrete scores documented on the ASC - Preprocedure and ASC - Intraprocedure templates. The clinicians can review and add Aldrete scores based on the post-procedure evaluation. The Aldrete Score panel displays the stage of care and general patient state of being documented on the ASC - Preprocedure template. The nurse or clinical support staff can review and make applicable changes to the existing details and/or add a new stage of care details. Modify a Record in the Grid

Document the Aldrete Score
You can document the Aldrete score of a patient on the ASC - Aldrete Score template. Open the Hysteroscopy - Procedure template. In the Aldrete Score panel, select Add. The ASC - Aldrete Score template opens. ASC - Aldrete Score template To display the Aldrete Post Anesthetic Score in the Modified Aldrete Post Anesthetic Recovery Score © field, select the applicable options. Activity Respiration Circulation Consciousness O2 Saturation Note: The modified score must be at least 9 to discharge a patient.
