Add an Aldrete Score

Click Add to open the ASC - Aldrete Score template.

The ASC - Aldrete Score template allows you to generate either the modified Aldrete score or full Aldrete score.
Do one of the following:
- Enter Time of the entry or click the clock to populate the current time in the Time field.
- Click the drop-down arrow next to the Time field to open the Time Entry window. Enter the time using the numeric-key pad and click OK.
Select appropriate options in the template.
When you select an option, the Aldrete Score automatically calculates and displays in the respective fields below the options.
The system automatically fills the options selected on the left-side of the template to display the Aldrete score in the Modified Aldrete Post Anesthetic Recovery Score field.

If you select any options on the right-side of the template, the system fills the full Aldrete score automatically in the Aldrete Post Anesthetic Recovery Score Modified for Ambulatory Anesthesia field and clears the Aldrete score from the Modified Aldrete Post Anesthetic Recovery Score field.
If you have reviewed the documented data in the template, select the Sign off check box.
The Completed by field is populated with the current user name and the Date field is populated with the current date.
Click Save.
Click Close.
The selected data appears in the grid on the Aldrete Score panel.
Note: Information entered in the grid is encounter-specific.
To view the Aldrete details recorded on a particular procedure stage, click the Stage filter field above the grid and select a stage from the picklist.
The grid filters data in the grid based on the selected procedure stage.
To remove an Aldrete Score, select a row to be removed on the Aldrete Score panel and click Remove.
