Access Assessment Plan Customization Template

Dx Groups Reference Systems Template

This template pulls in functionality from other system/practice templates into a central location for managing reference systems, diagnosis groups, codes, and order sets. Diagnosis groups are based on triggers for order sets, care guidelines, and so on, as used by NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. Diagnosis categories are set up in File Maintenance to be used in the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine applications such as the diagnosis search window. Reference Systems

On the Dx Groups Reference Systems practice template, in the Manage Reference Systems panel, you can create a new reference system and restrict code for certain diagnosis categories. If you restrict a diagnosis category, the category can have only one ICD-9 and 10 code as a default diagnosis code to an order. From the File menu, select System/Practice Template. The list of templates appears. In the Show section, select All to view all the available templates.
