Filter and View Plans for Chronic Conditions in the Medical Summary
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- In an encounter, select any Specialty and Office Visit as Visit Type.
- Select My Plan link, and then select the Assessments tab.
- Use the Add common assessment/Diagnosis Code Lookup link to add a few assessments.
- Select Save & Close to return to the Add or Update Assessment template.
- Select Save & Close to return to the previous template.
- On the Intake tab, in the Reason for Visit panel, select Chronic Conditions.
- Select a diagnosis from Today’s Assessment grid.
- On the Medical Chart Summary section, select the Plans link.
The application automatically fills the plans for all chronic conditions in the grid.
- To view only specific assessments, select the Filter by Diagnosis field to select a diagnosis from the resulting list.
The grid displays only the assessments related to the selected diagnosis.
- To fill the grid with assessments rendered by a specific provider, select the Filter by Provider field to select the appropriate name from the resulting list.
The grid listing medical charts displays only the diagnosis made by the selected provider.
