Record Individuals Present

Open the BH - Individual Counsel/Psych Prog Note template. In the Individuals Present panel, select from one of the options for the Modality. Modality is only available on the Progress Note tab. In the Individuals Present section, select one of the following set of values: Individual not present and a Reason Individual present and a Contact Type If applicable, place a check mark next to Others present and type in the person's name and/or relationship in the field when it becomes available. The Support Resources section is where information about the client's closest friends and relatives are recorded. To enter a new person under Support Resources, fill in the fields in this section (First name and the Effective date are required) and click the Add button. Document Plan and Additional Information

On the Plan and Additional Information panel, do one of the following actions: Click the Plan/additional information field to manually type relevant information. Use the My Phrases functionality to enter a sentence or part of a sentence in the field. Complete Behavioral Health Billing

The Start and End buttons are available here and on the Program Name panel in the Progress Note tab. The values documented in either place are immediately reflected in the same fields on the other section. Entered times can be modified by clicking in the field. If desired, you can document the time values at a later date. It is important to follow the established format: 00:00 AM or PM. To finalize billing, navigate to the Behavioral health billing section. For the End time field, do one of the following: Click the clock clock icon for start and end button to enter the current time. Click the field to type the time that marked the end of the exam. Note: The read-only Duration field fills after the entry of the End time. Select Service performed by. Enter Goals, Objectives and Interventions Addressed Today

Any goals and/or objective data that were previously entered on the Comprehensive Assessment template set populate in the panels found here. The grid on this panel offers a quick view of the client's current goals and objectives. In the Goals/Objectives Addressed As Per Individualized Action Plan section, field, click to Goal today select a previously entered item. Select an Objective today from the picklist of previously entered objectives. Click Add. In the Interventions Addressed Today section, do one or both of the following actions: Click Select From Previous IAP Intervention to select a previously entered value. Enter details in the Interventions/methods provided memo field. Click the My Phrases link to select a sentence to enter in the Interventions addressed today section. Click Add. Click Save & Close. Enter the Program Name

Expand the Program Name panel. Click the Program name field to select the appropriate name. Program names can be added and/or edited on the Custom Picklists Setup system template. To enter the Start time, do one of the following: Click the clock button to enter the current system time in the field. Click the Start time field to type the time. Enter Program Information

To enter information in the General panel, click the Program name field. Note: Program names can be added and/or edited by the practice on the Custom Picklists Setup, system template. Entering a program name helps when setting up reports for the practice, but is not required. Select the appropriate name from the list. Enter the current time by clicking the Start button.
