Enter Historical Diet Details

You can document the diet details of the patient.

The Social History – Diet template enables you to document specific diet details for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack consumed by a patient. The details on the patient's daily diet helps the clinician or provider to verify if a child gets adequate nutrition for normal growth and development.

  1. To open the Social History – Diet template, do one of the following:
    • On the Histories template, expand the Social panel, select Diet History, and then click Add/Edit.
    • In the History Summary panel on the Intake template, click Social, click Diet History, and then click Add/Edit.

  2. Enter the date of the diet.
  3. In the Breakfast , Lunch, and Dinner section, do the following:
    1. Select the appropriate diet.
    2. Select the serving size and measure of the diet.
  4. In the Snacks section, do the following:
    1. Select the diet, serving size, and measure of the diet.
    2. Enter the time to have snacks.
  5. Click Add To Grid.
    The Daily Diet History grid displays the added diet details.
  6. Save and close the template.
