Open the Provider Test Action Template

You can open the Provider Test Action template to document and view a patient's appointment and contact information. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Managing Medication Dispensing

With the medication dispensing functionality on the Order Management template, you can document and manage inventory for medications that are dispensed in-house. The Medication Dispensing Restocking fields enables you to indicate any changes to actual dispensing or administering records. You can document information related to the following: Patient-specific education Counseling regarding birth control methods Tracking medication dispensing with charge capture Refill tracking Patient-specific, location specific, or practice-specific inventory The medications configured on the Medication Configuration template appears on the Order Management template. You can search by the generic name or brand name of the medication, change the display name of the medication, and manage the inventory of the medication based on the location. View Order Management Details

You can view order details on the Order Management Details template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Home Page template, select the Order Management link. The Order Management template opens. In the Order Status Detail/actions grid, double-click an order. The Order Management Details template opens with the order details. Viewing Template Links on the Home Page Template

On the Home Page template, you can view and open links to other templates based on the selected specialty. The recommended workflow for a patient encounter is to begin on the Home Page template. If you set up the Home Page template as the default, then the same template automatically opens as the first template for an encounter. You can also open the generic Home Page template from the Templates module. You can review and document the summary of a patient's problems, history, allergies, medications, vital signs, orders, and so on, on the Home Page template. The Home Page template, associated with various specialties, includes links for the following: Documenting the patients's demographics information Documenting the patients's call and communication details Documenting the provider's test action after reviewing the patient's results Documenting order details Generating information Viewing the patients's history details Links on the Home Page template Managing the Telephone Call Templa

Provider Test Action Sub-Navigational Link

The Provider Test Action sub-navigational link opens the Provider Test Action template to document the actions to be taken after the review of patient results, as well as to view the patient's appointment and contact information. Providers enter and manage brief action details or notes and the tasks for future encounters. Note: The Provider Test Action template is also available from the left navigation bar. Document Provider Interactions

Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty as Care Management and Visit Type as Case & Consent. On the Documentation tab, expand the Provider Interactions panel, and then click Add The Provider Interactions template opens. Type a description of the action taken in the Actions field. Click Save. To add another entry, click Clear For Add and repeat steps 2 and 3. When you have completed all need entries, click Close. The template closes and the saved entries appear on the Provider Interactions data grid. To remove an entry from the Provider Interactions grids, click the entry to be removed and click Remove. To change an entry on the grid, click the entry to be changed and click Edit. The Provider Interactions template appears and you can edit the text in the Actions field.
