You can document the findings of a patient's review of systems for multiple systems using a single template or a single system.
Before you begin
The One Page ROS option opens a gender-specific or gender-neutral Review of Systems (ROS) template based on the configuration of the Review of Systems section on the Framework Content system template. The Select other ROS option displays the practice's systems configured on the Framework Content system template.
You can configure the gender-neutral Reproductive ROS template based on the configuration of the SOGI/Transgender section on the Practice Configuration template. - Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- Open the Intake template.
- In the Review of Systems panel, do one of the following:
- To document the findings for multiple systems on a single template, select One Page ROS, and do one of the following on the associated ROS template:
- To select normal for all systems, select the ROS Defaults field, and then select default ROS from the list.
- To document the findings for a specific system, locate the respective system on the ROS template, and then document your findings.
- To mark negative for all symptoms in a system, select All Neg in that system.
- To document the findings in detail for a specific system, select the respective system link, and then document the findings.
- To document the findings for a single system, select Select other ROS, select a system from the list, and document the findings.
- Select Save & Close.
The documented ROS findings appear in rows in the Review of Systems panel.
