Document Review of Systems Details

Open the SOAP template. In the Review of Systems panel, do one of the following: To select normal for all systems, click the ROS Defaults field, and then select default ROS from the list. To document the findings for multiple systems on a single template, click Derm ROS To document the findings for a specific system, locate the respective system on the ROS template, and then document your findings. To mark negative for all symptoms in a system, select All Neg in that system. To document the findings in detail for a specific system, click the respective system link, and then document the findings. Document the updates in the template. Click Save & Close. The option exists to save the documented information in the ROS template as the default set with a unique name, allowing you to use it again when documenting on the same template during future patient encounters. Document the Review of Systems Findings

The Review of Systems panel allows you to document the findings after reviewing a list of systems. Note: To copy the previous review of systems information to the current encounter, click ROS History. The Historical Information window opens, click Copy ROS & Close to copy previous review of systems information to the current encounter on the SOAP template. On the Historical Information window you can view Encounter Date, Provider, Reason for Visit/HPI, Diagnosis and copy System and Findings, Comments and Narrative to the current encounter. You can search or filter for specific content on the Historical information window by using the picklist available for each field except Findings, Comments and Narrative. For Findings, Comments and Narrative, you must type minimum 3 characters to enable the Search button. Open the Intake template. In the Review of Systems panel, click Orthopedic - ROS. Review a Patient's Symptoms for Various Systems

As part of the provider workflow, you can review and update symptoms entered during the patient's intake. OpenNextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open theSOAPtemplate, and then expand theReview of Systemspanel. To select a default set of findings, select an appropriate value in ROS Defaults. Note: You can also select Load to quickly load any saved review of systems, or select Save to save the documented review of systems to use them on other encounters. To document symptoms for multiple systems on a single template, select One Page ROS from the left navigation bar. Note: You can configure the One Page ROS link to open a gender-specific or gender-neutral template by using the Framework Content template. You can also customize the label for the One Page ROS link. To document findings for a single system, select an appropriate link from the left navigation bar. Document the Review of Systems Panel

The Review of Systems panel enables you to document the findings after reviewing a list of systems. Expand the Review of Systems panel. In the Review of Systems panel, select ROS from the left pane. Note: The ROS option is dependent on the specialty selected. For Ambulatory ASC specialty, you will see GI-ROS. The speciality specific review of system template opens. To document normal values in fields of all the sections, click the ROS defaults field and select the appropriate normal default set name from the list. All of the fields in the template populate with normal values to allow for charting by exception. If applicable, select the Neg or Pos option for the applicable systems in the template. You can click the system-specific link to add detailed findings on the system. If you want to save the documented values as the default set for the current template, click the Quick Save button and enter a default set name for the template. Document a Routine Visit

After the intake staff completes their work with the patient, you can document the patient encounter. On Dermatology Home Page template, review the patient information entered by the intake staff. On the Histories template, review the patient information and make the desired modifications. On the SOAP template, view the details of reason for entered by the intake staff in the Reason for Visit panel. You can enter additional reasons for visit. In the Review of Systems panel, to document patient's signs and symptoms, do one of the following: Click the ROS defaults field, and then select an appropriate default ROS from the list. Click DERM - ROS and do one of the following in the Dermatology-ROS template. To select negative or positive for symptoms in a system, select either Neg or Pos options. To mark negative for all symptoms in a specific system, select All neg in the respective system. To document the findings in detail for a specific system, click the respective system link, and then

Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty and Visit Type as Care Management. On the Comp Assessment tab, expand the Review of Systems panel. Select Primary Care ROS - Male/Female from the left pane. The gender-specific ROS [Male or Female] template opens. ROS-Male Select the Neg (Negative) or Pos (Positive) option for each condition within the system groups. If you want to mark all the conditions as neg for a system, click the All neg check box for that system. You can also click the system-specific links to document detailed information on that specific system. If you want to document normal values in all the sections, in the ROS Defaults field, select the appropriate one-page default template from the list. All the fields in the template are filled with normal values to allow for charting by exception.
