Document Mapping System Template

The Document Mapping system template provides mapping solutions so that you can associate NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine documents with clinical notes and diagnostic categories. This helps to complete one of the data points for NextGen® Enterprise EHR/API 21st Century Cures Act.

Document Mapping supports Clinical Note Mapping and Diagnostic Report Mapping. You can select both or any of the mapping types and map supported types of documents.

Using Clinical Note Mapping, you can select the document type and map it to the clinical notes. You can select the visit type and in the comments section, you can provide the reason for mapping a document to a particular LOINC code.

In Clinical Note Mapping, associating the document with LOINC codes help users generate data for a particular clinical note. For example, when you need data for discharge summary details of a particular patient, LOINC codes help you generate the same. It looks for the documents and visit types mapped to that LOINC code and generates data for the associated document.

In Diagnostic Report Mapping, you can associate NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine documents with the available Diagnostic Categories. The Diagnostic Categories are available in the lab_test_category_mstr interop table. The supported categories are Cardiology, Radiology, and Pathology. In the comments section, you can provide the reason for mapping a document to a Diagnostic Category.
