Associate Document Management with Clinical Notes

Document Management files are available in the File Maintenance. The documents available in File Maintenance > Document Management > Document Types are fetched and listed when you select Document Management as the document type.
  1. Open the Document Mapping system template.
  2. In the Clinical Note Mapping panel, select Document Management.
  3. To select a document, do the following.
    1. Click the Document Name arrow.
      The Document Management List window opens.
    2. Select the desired Document Management.
    3. Click OK.
  4. To select a visit type, do the following.
    1. Click the Visit Type (optional) arrow.
      The Visit Type window opens.
    2. Select the desired visit type.
    3. Click OK.
  5. To associate a clinical note, do the following:
    1. Click the Document LOINC Type arrow.
      The LOINC Type window opens.
    2. Select the desired Document LOINC Type.
    3. Click OK.
      The corresponding LOINC code appears in the LOINC field.
  6. In the Comments field, provide the reason for associating a Document Management with a LOINC code.
  7. To clear the information before adding them to the grid, click Clear.
  8. To add a record and make it available in the grid, click Add.
    The configured Document Name, Visit Type, Document LOINC type, LOINC Code, and Comments details are added as a record and appear in the grid.
  9. Click Save & Close.
