Associate Document Management with Clinical Notes
Document Management files are available in the File Maintenance. The documents available in File Maintenance > Document Management > Document Types are fetched and listed when you select Document Management as the document type.
- Open the Document Mapping system template.
- In the Clinical Note Mapping panel, select Document Management.
- To select a document, do the following.
- Click the Document Name arrow.
The Document Management List window opens.
- Select the desired Document Management.
- Click OK.
- Click the Document Name arrow.
- To select a visit type, do the following.
- Click the Visit Type (optional) arrow.
The Visit Type window opens.
- Select the desired visit type.
- Click OK.
- Click the Visit Type (optional) arrow.
- To associate a clinical note, do the following:
- Click the Document LOINC Type arrow.
The LOINC Type window opens.
- Select the desired Document LOINC Type.
- Click OK.
The corresponding LOINC code appears in the LOINC field.
- Click the Document LOINC Type arrow.
- In the Comments field, provide the reason for associating a Document Management with a LOINC code.
- To clear the information before adding them to the grid, click Clear.
- To add a record and make it available in the grid, click Add.
Note:
- The Add button is unavailable until you select all mandatory fields.
- If you try to add a duplicate record, a message appears.
The configured Document Name, Visit Type, Document LOINC type, LOINC Code, and Comments details are added as a record and appear in the grid. - Click Save & Close.

You can update the Document Management associated with a clinical note. - Remove Document Management Associated with Clinical Notes
You can remove the Document Management associated with a clinical note.
