Document in the 18 - 20 Week EDD Update Panel

Expand the 18-20 Week Update panel, if desired and if appropriate during the initial prenatal visit. This panel is sometimes used for patients who have not had sonograms during their pregnancy.
18-20 Week Update panel

  1. Select a date from the Quickening Date field.
  2. Select the +20 or +22 option, depending on whether the patient is a multiparous patient or not.
  3. Select the Assign quickening date to Adjusted (provider) EDD date field option if this date should be used to determine the EDD.
    The EDD date is calculated accordingly and updated in the Initial/Working EDD field.
  4. Select a date from the Fundal ht. at umbil Date field.
  5. Select the +20 option if this is the first pregnancy.
  6. Select the Assign fundal height date to Adjusted (provider) EDD date field option if this EDD should be used to determine the EDD.
    The EDD date is calculated accordingly and updated in the Initial/Working EDD field.
  7. Select the ultrasound date from the Ultrasound Date field.
  8. Enter the weeks and days in the Gestational Age by Ultrasound template.
  9. Select the Assign Ultrasound date to Adjusted (provider) EDD date field option if this EDD should be used to determine the EDD.
  10. Select the ultrasound location name from the Ultrasound center list.
