Document Antenatal Screening Tests

You can provide maternal health information, such as screening tests, illnesses, infections, and complications in the Antenatal section on the Pregnancy/Birth History template.

1. On the Intake template, click the Birth History link.
   The Pregnancy/Birth History template opens.
2. In the Antenatal section, select the Group B strep screen result.
   

   If you select Pos, the Birth Hx GBC Dtl template opens. Do the following:
   1. Enter the details of antibiotics given to the mother prior to delivery.
   2. Select the Penicillin given to infant in delivery room option.
   3. Click OK.
   Note: A Detail button appears on the Pregnancy/Birth History template next to the fields for which you provide additional information.
3. Select the Antenatal labs option.
   If you select Yes, the Birth Hx Labs Dtl template opens. Do the following:

   

   1. Select the appropriate options to indicate the results of the antenatal lab tests.
   2. Click OK.
4. Select the Maternal illness/complications option.
   If you select Yes, the Birth Hx Illness template opens. Do the following:

   

   1. Select the relevant illness or complications of the mother.
   2. Click OK.
5. Select the Maternal infection option.
   If you select Yes, the Birth History Infection template opens. Do the following:

   

   1. Select the infection details of the mother.
   2. Click OK.
6. To enter the medication details, click the Medications during pregnancy fields.
7. To enter confidential information, click Confidential Info.
   The Birth Hx Confident template opens.

   

8. Select the options for the confidential details, and then click OK.
