Delete or Remove Codes

Highlight the item or items in the Assigned Diagnosis Codes grid. Do one of the following: Select Remove to delete the specific code(s). Select the Remove All button to delete all codes. Parent topic: Assigning Diagnosis Codes to a Group Section

Change Order in the Group

Add a Diagnosis Code to a Group

Select a row in the grid to populate the Assigned Diagnosis Codes to Group – [Diagnosis Group name] grid with the associated codes. Set the Type to ICD-9 or ICD-10. Type the applicable data in the Description or Code field. Select Search. To include a single item, select the desired item from the Search Results grid and select the right arrow to move it to the Assigned Diagnosis Codes grid.The top arrow moves all of the items and the bottom arrow moves only the highlighted selection.An alert will display if the group is restricted. Managing Reference Systems, Diagnosis Groups and Codes

The Manage Reference Systems, Diagnosis Groups and Codes panel enables you to add, edit, and update the reference systems, diagnosis groups, and codes. It is divided into two sections: Add Diagnosis Group - for the management of groups (add, update, activate or inactivate) Assign Diagnosis Codes to Group - reveals if the group is for the ICD-9 or ICD-10 code set; works from a highlighted row in the Add Diagnosis Group grid Diagnosis Groups and Code Lists Add a New Diagnosis Group and Code List Edit an Existing Diagnosis Group Assigning Diagnosis Codes to a Group Section Parent topic: Dx Groups and Reference Systems

The Dx Groups/Reference Systems tab has the following panels: Manage Reference Systems, Diagnosis Groups and Codes - to edit existing pages and create new pages. Manage Reference Systems - to work with reference systems and sets. Access the Dx Groups Reference Systems Template

The Dx Groups Reference Systems practice template enables you to create a reference system and add a diagnosis group with the diagnosis codes. A reference system is a grouping of the diagnosis categories that are set up in File Maintenance. The diagnosis groups can be mapped to more than one reference system. From the File menu, click System \ Practice Template. In Select Template, click the Practice tab. In the Show section, click All. A list of practice templates opens.
