Configure the Recommended Care Guidelines

Before you begin

You must set up the categories for recommended care on the Custom DB Picklists system template. For more information on configuring custom DB lists, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Custom DB Picklists System Template forNextGen®Adaptive Content Engine
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. From File, select System \ Practice Template.
    The Select Template window opens.
  3. On the Practice tab, select the All option.
  4. Select Recommended Care, and then select OK.
    The Recommended Care practice template opens.
  5. Select the condition or reason, type, and recommended care guideline.
  6. Select the goals, status, and compliance for the guideline in the corresponding grids, and then select Add.
  7. In the Recommended Care section, select Add.
    The added data appears in the Recommended Care grid.
