Configure Medications for Medication Totals

The Documentation Log panel provides settings to display the medication names and dosage details on the ASC Medication Total template that opens from the Medication Totals link in the run-time Documentation Log panel.

  1. On the Documentation Log Config practice template, expand the Documentation Log panel
  2. Select the Medications entry type from the first left pane.
  3. Select any Category of medication from the second pane.
  4. Select a medication from the right grid.
    The values populate in the corresponding fields above the grid. The Include in Medication Totals check box appears.
  5. Select Include in Medication Totals.

  6. Click Update.
In run time, if you add medication(s) in the Documentation Log panel, the medication(s) with the Include in Medication Totals setting selected in the practice template appears on the ASC Medication Total template.
