Open System or Practice Template

You can configure the templates related to the system and practice category using the system or practice template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. To view all the available templates, click All. To view the practice templates, click Practice. To view the system templates, click System. Enable the Copy All Diagnosis, Assessment, and Plan Functionality

You can copy the diagnosis, assessment, and plan details of the selected encounter if you enable the Show Copy All Diagnosis, Assessment and Plan practice setting. The Copy All Dx/AP button on the Copy Historical DAP template enables you to copy all assessment, diagnosis, and plan details of the selected encounter. You must enable the Show Copy All Diagnosis, Assessment/Plan setting on the Practice Configuration practice template, to display the Copy All Dx/AP button. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, click System \ Practice templates. On the System tab, double-click Configuration Home. On the left pane, click the Practice Configuration template. In the Assessment section, select the Show Copy All Diagnosis, Assessment/Plan check box. Copy Historical Free Form HPI to Current Encounter

You can copy historical Free Form HPI data within the last three years to the current encounter in the Reason for Visit panel of the Intake – Cardiology template. Before you begin You must configure the Copy Historical Free Form HPI settings on the Practice Configuration template to copy historical Free Form HPI details to the current encounter. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake - Cardiology template. Click the Reason for Visit panel. In the left reason for visit pane, click Freeform HPI. The Free Form HPI template opens. Click Copy Forward. Note: If HPI content exists on the Free Form HPI template, the system alerts you that existing findings are overwritten if you select an HPI to copy. Freeform HPI The Copy Forward Free Form HPI Histories template opens with the Free Form HPI entries from the last three years in the grid, with the most recent encounters listed first. Configure Preferences for Copying Data from Previous Encounters

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Practice Configuration template. Optional: In the Copy Previous Visit Information section, update the default duration of the historical information. Copy Previous Visit Information Section To copy the historical physical exams, review of systems, reasons for visit, or assessments, select the respective checkbox. Note: If you clear a checkbox, you can only view the historical information from previous encounters. To display a label on the templates or documents, indicating that the information is copied from previous encounters, select the respective checkbox. Select Save and Close. Copy the Current Configurations

You can copy the current configurations to another specialty, practice, or provider using the copy button. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Framework Content template. To copy your preferences on the Framework Content system template, select the Specialty, Practice, or Provider. In the Copy To section, enter any or all of the following: Specialty Practice Provider Copy To To duplicate the setup preferences, click the Copy button.
