You can change the order of the
Sections
grid by moving individual rows or by sorting alphabetically.
Select the
Change Order
check box to modify the order of the sections in the
Sections
grid.
The
Select row to move
text appears on top of the
Sections grid
.
Select the row to be moved.
Click the position in the grid where you want to move the selected row.
The row is moved to the selected position.
Select the
Sort alphabetically
check box to display the
Sections
grid in alphabetical order, sorted by the
Section Name
column.
The list is sorted alphabetically.

Modify Sections of a Dynamic HPI Reason
You can modify the content of a dynamic History of Present Illness (HPI) using the Dynamic HPI Config template. Open the Dynamic HPI Config template. Click the down arrow next to the Reason field to select a value from the list. The content for the selected reason appears in the Chief Complaint field and the Sections grid. Setup HPI Select a row in the Sections grid. The content of the selected row fills the fields above the Sections grid. Also, the Findings and Dependencies grids populate with the associated content for the selected section. Select the new values for the Section Name, Parameter, Options, and EM Coding Element fields. Make additional changes as needed and then click Update. Add a New Section for a Reason HPI
You can create a new section for a dynamic HPI on the Dynamic HPI Config practice template. The sections are based on the reason, specialty, and provider. The section appears under the Reason field in the left pane of the dynamic HPI template. Under Sections, enter a value in the Section Name field. Click the Parameter field to define the number and type of grid used to display the content. Select from the following options: Single Left/Right Right/Left Group 1/ Group 2 See the Dynamic HPI Sections for a detailed explanation of the Parameter options. Select the desired items from the Options field. The selected options appear as radio buttons and/or check boxes on the dynamic HPI template according to selected sequence Click the Information icon to view the available HPI options. Click the EM Coding Element field and select an option from the corresponding list.The application attaches the coding element to the Section and fills the EM Coding Description field automatically. Open the Dynamic HPI Config practice template. Select Change Order to move a single item. The Select row to move text appears on top of the Findings grid. Select the row to be moved. Dynamic HPI Sections
You can set up a new section for a reason for visit. The sections are based on the reason, specialty, and provider. The EM Coding Element field enables you to assign Evaluation and Management (EM) coding points to a section on the dynamic HPI, when appropriate. Note: EM coding points are not calculated for Review of Systems (ROS) when the symptoms are entered on the dynamic HPI template. The options in the Medical panel on the run-time Past Medical History template are in the same order as the conditions in the grid in the Past Medical History panel. You can only sort or change the order of the Standard and Sub header conditions in the grid. The Sub-Items are sorted alphabetically by default. The Sort alphabetically or Change order options are not applicable for Sub-Items. Access the Configure Medical, Surgical, Family Hx system template. Expand the Past Medical History panel. Click Specialty and select a specialty from the list. The grid displays the medical conditions configured for the selected specialty. To view medical conditions configured for a specific practice, click Practice and select the practice from the list. Select the filter Standard and Sub header Conditions option above the grid.
