Tracking Tab

You use the Tracking template to create and monitor action items, setting priorities and deadlines for the actions. Created actions can be tasked to other providers or staff members. Document Patient Consent

Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty as Care Management and Visit Type as Case & Consent. On the Case & Consent template, expand the Consent panel. Click the appropriate consent from the fields available. Click the appropriate dates corresponding to the consent. Parent topic: Case & Consent Tab

Add a Case History Entry

Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty as Care Management and Visit Type as Case & Consent. The Case History panel enables you to track the history of a case by adding entries for case-related events. On the Case & Consent template, expand the Consent panel. Navigate to the Case History panel. Case History From the Case History panel, click Add/Update. The The CM New Case template opens. CM New Case Click the appropriate option for status under Indicate Status. Enter the Open date under Case Information. The current NextGen Healthcare user’s name populates to the open by text box. Optionally select a reason in the Reason field. Optionally select a Case Manager. Enter a Close date, if applicable. Click Update to add the new entry to the data grid. To task the entry, click on the entry in the grid and click Task. Follow the normal tasking steps to send the task to a recipient. Click Save & Close. The template closes and the new entry appears on the Case History data

Use the Document Panel to Complete a Visit

Before you begin Ensure that you have selected the Specialty as Care Management and Visit Type as Case & Consent. On the Documentation template, expand the Document panel. Document Add or update the diagnosis code as needed. Choose the appropriate type of visit for the encounter. Click the Add button. Generate the visit note by clicking the correct document link. Access Adult Social History Template

On the Histories template, expand the Social panel. Click Add/Edit. The Adult Social History template includes the social history content in different panels on a single template to minimize clicks and navigation.
