Configuring Order Sets and Associated Picklists

You can configure the order sets and order set picklists using the Assessment Plan Customize practice template. The order sets shipped with NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine can be modified to meet the specific needs of a practice or provider. When you launch the My Plan or My Custom Plan template in runtime, a list of commonly ordered items for each type of order (such as labs, diagnostics, office procedures, and so on) displays on the template. Before an assessment or a diagnosis is selected, this list (order set) is loaded by default. Selecting a diagnosis in the grid holding today's assessments on the My Plan or My Custom Plan template, changes the order set based on your selection. Access Assessment Plan Customization Template

From the File menu, double-click System / Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. On the Practice tab, under Show, select All to search for and double-click Assessment Plan Customization. The Assessment Plan Customization template opens. Edit Full List of Order Set Picklists

In the Assessment Plan Customization template, Order Sets (My Plan/CustomPlan) DBPicklists data grid, select the Full List option. Double-click an order type in the grid.The Treatment Plan Dbp template opens. Make the required changes in the fields. Select Save, and then select Close to return to the Assessment Plan Customization template. In the Order Sets (My Plan/CustomPlan) DBPicklists section, select Save & Close.
