Anticipatory Guidance for Well Child
You can document the safety measures, diet plans, and provide anticipatory guidance and education materials for a well child visit.
The Anticipatory Guidance content is based on the Bright Futures Fourth Edition guidelines, which provide theory-based and evidence-driven guidance for all the preventive care screenings and well child visits. The fourth edition builds upon the previous editions with a focus on the social determinants of health and lifelong physical and mental health.
The Anticipatory Guidance button in the Assessment / Plan panel enables you to document the anticipatory guidance details of a well child in the Peds Plan template. In addition to documenting the anticipatory guidance details, the Peds Plan template enables you to do the following:
- Document a BMI, hypertension or depression care plan for a patient who is two years of age or older using the HPP link.
