Add Exam Tools in the GET
On the
GET
template, select the
icon.
The
Options and Setting
menu opens.
From the menu, select
Settings
.
The
Graphical Exam Tool -Settings
window opens.
Click the
Exam Tools
tab.

.
A
New Exam Tool
entry appears at the top of the
Findings
list and the
Properties
pane shows the default values for an exam tool.
Click
Name
and replace the default value with the name of the exam tool.
The name entered appears as an image tab on the GET.
Click the
Image Name
list and select the image.
Note:
Ensure that you have placed the image in the
Template Image Path
directory.
Click the
Image Sex
list and select the value.
Note:
The image only appears for patients of the selected sex. The default value is
Any
.
Click
Zoom Factor
and type the zoom factor.
Click
Save
and then click
Close
.

Add a Procedure to the GET
Add the procedure to the appropriate findings in the derm_exam profile, so you can use that procedure with the tool. On the GET template, select the icon. The Options and Setting menu opens. From the menu, select Settings. The Graphical Exam Tool -Settings window opens. Click the Procedure tab. The Procedures pane lists all the procedures currently defined for the GET. Click Add. A New Procedures entry appears at the top of the Procedures list and the Properties pane displays the default values for the procedure. Click Name and type the name of the procedure. Manage Exam Tool for a Reason for Visit
By default, all reasons for visits have all defined exam tools included in their display image in the order specified on the profile. If you have added a new exam tool to the GET and the derm_exam profile, you must add that exam tool to the image for the appropriate reason for visit. On the GET template, select the icon. The Options and Setting menu opens. From the menu, select Settings. The Graphical Exam Tool -Settings window opens. Select the Profiles tab. In the Profiles pane select derm_exam. The properties for the derm_exam profile appear in the Properties pane. In Settings, click Reasons For Visit and then click the ellipsis button. The derm_exam window opens with the defined reasons for visit in the Members pane. Select the reason for visit to which you want to add the exam tool. The properties for the selected reason for visit appear on the right. In Sort/Filter Exam Tools, click Exam Tools and then click the ellipsis button. Add a Procedure to Findings in the Derm_Exam Profile
On the GET template, select the icon. The Options and Setting menu opens. From the menu, select Settings. The Graphical Exam Tool -Settings window opens. Select the Profiles tab. In the Profiles pane select derm_exam. The properties for the derm_exam profile appear in the Properties pane. In Settings, select Findings and then select the ellipsis button. The derm_exam window opens and displays the defined findings for the profile in the Members pane. The currently used findings columns are indicated by a check. Click the finding to which you need to add the procedure.The properties for the selected finding appear on the right. In Settings, click Procedures and then click the ellipsis button.The available procedures for the selected finding appear in the Members pane. The procedures currently assigned to this finding are selected. Note: The selected procedures appear on a selection list. During runtime, you can right-click a Findings grid record, and select Modify, and select the Action

GET Images
The GET supports image files in .bmp format. You should open and save the file in Image Region Editor to add active images to the database table. This utility creates active regions on the image and saves them in .rgn format. The .bmp and .rgn image files must be saved to the Template Image Path location in System Administrator under View > Universal Preferences > Templates. GET Exam Tools
The GET is delivered with a comprehensive set of exam tools. By default, every exam tool that is appropriate for a specialty is included in every reason for visit. You may choose to remove the exam tools from certain reasons for visits to simplify the display. For example, you may remove most exam tools from the acne reason for visit since only the face and body are involved in the exam. When configuring exam tools, you can: Add new exam tools to the GET. Add or change the exam tools defined for the derm_exam profile. Add or change the exam tools defined for each reason for visit. GET Images You can add images to the GET. Before you add an image, you must create the image and store it in the proper location. Add Exam Tools in the GET You can add additional exam tools if you have images that you prefer to use. You can also change the attributes of existing exam tools if needed Manage Exam Tool for a Reason for Visit You can define what exam tool need to appear for each reason for visit.

Add a Finding to the GET
On the GET template, select the icon. The Options and Setting menu opens. From the menu, select Settings. The Graphical Exam Tool -Settings window opens. Click the Findings tab. Click Add. A New Findings entry appears at the top of the Findings list and the Properties pane shows the default values for a finding. In Name, replace the default value with the name of the finding. The name provided is used to mark the findings on the GET exam images. The maximum length for the name is 15 characters. In Description, type a description of the finding. The description appears in the Findings column on the GET. This description is used as Qualifier 2 when creating a template default for the new finding.
