You can document the single condition for a patient's family history.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- Open the Histories template.
- In the Family panel, select Add.
The Family Health History template opens.
- Select the check box next to an individual condition.
- In the Onset age field, enter the family member's age at the time of diagnosis.
- If the family member died from the condition, select the Cause of death check box.
Note: When you select Cause of death, the Age at death field appears to enter the age of a dead person and NextGen® Enterprise EHR selects the deceased field automatically.
- Select the Comments link.
The
Family History Comments template opens.
- Enter any additional information about the family member and select Save & Close.
- Select Save to Grid.
