Add a Single Condition to the Family History

You can document the single condition for a patient's family history.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Open the Histories template.
  3. In the Family panel, select Add.
    The Family Health History template opens.
  4. Select the check box next to an individual condition.
  5. In the Onset age field, enter the family member's age at the time of diagnosis.
  6. If the family member died from the condition, select the Cause of death check box.
  7. Select the Comments link.
    The Family History Comments template opens.

  8. Enter any additional information about the family member and select Save & Close.
  9. Select Save to Grid.
