Add a New Template Default Set

You can add a new default set on the Template Default Sets panel of the Template Defaults Setup system template.

  1. In the Currently Available Template Default Sets section on the Template Defaults Setup system template, right-click over the grid and select Add New.

    The Template Defaults Sets - [New Record] template opens.
  2. Click the Type field and select the appropriate default set type from the list.
  3. Click the Category field to select an appropriate value from the DB picklist.
  4. In the Set Name field, enter a name for the template default set.
  5. Click the Specialties field and select only the specialties using this default set from the list of specialty abbreviations. Select all to enable all specialties to use this default set. Click Close to exit the list.
  6. If applicable, enter qualifier data to distinguish different sets from one another in the any of the following fields:
    For example, a qualifier may be used to differentiate between Adult and Pediatri c sets, Male and Female sets, and so forth.
    • Qualifier 1
    • Qualifier 2
    • Qualifier 3
    • Qualifier 4
  7. In the SaveTemplate Indicator field, enter a unique digit as a template indicator.
  8. In the Set Comments field, you can type a comment to provide any additional information about the new set.
  9. Click Save and then click Close.
    The newly added set appears in the grid in the Currently Available Template Default Sets section.
