Map HCPCS Codes to Nebulization Solution

On the Data Sets Setup template, select Data Set and select Nebulizer Treatment.The existing data set items associated with the Nebulizer Treatment data set appear in the grid. Nebulizer Treatment data set Select Add.The Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template opens. Template Data Sets Setup If applicable, select Diagnosis description to search and select a diagnosis.The associated diagnosis code automatically populates. If applicable, select Provider and select a provider from Dbp Rendering Provider. In List Item, enter the solution name to be used in the nebulizer. In Qualifier 2, enter the amount of the nebulized solution to be used. In HCPCS, enter the procedure code. In Units, enter the number of units of the nebulized solution. In Rounding, enter a value that is used to calculate the number of units to submit with the J code for the nebulizer procedure. Nebulizer Treatment Data Set

The Nebulizer Treatment data set enables you to map HCPCS codes to the nebulization solution and the associated units of the solution. The configured details are displayed in the Get Nebulizer Data picklist that launches from the Nebulizer Treatment–Procedure template. The Nebulizer Treatment-Procedure template refers to the configured data when the nebulizer details are sent for billing. Document Nebulizer Post Treatment Details

You can document a patient's Nebulizer post treatment details on the Nebulizer Treatment - Procedure template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a patient's record, and then open an encounter. On Top Toolbar, select Templates . The Select Template window opens. Open the SOAP template, and expand the Nebulizer panel. In the Nebulizer panel, select Add.The Nebulizer Treatment - Procedure template opens. In the Post-Treatment panel, enter Pulse Ox and Pulse Ox Amb values, and then select the TX1 option. Enter the values for Post-Treatment Peak Flow in the three measured fields. In the Physical Exam section, do one of the following: Select the Normal checkbox for Inspection, Auscultation, and Effort, and the Absent checkbox for Cough. Enter details in the Side, Location, and Findings fields. Note: You can select the Respiratory link to enter additional details on the Respiratory - Physical Exam template. You can document a patient's nebulization values on the Nebulizer Treatment - Procedure template. You can edit or remove a nebulization treatment entry from the Nebulizer grid. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a patient's record, and then open an encounter. On Top Toolbar, select Templates . The Select Template window opens. Open the SOAP template, and expand the Nebulizer panel. In the Nebulizer panel, select Add.The Nebulizer Treatment - Procedure template opens. Nebulizer Treatment - Procedure template In the Pre-Treatment panel, select the Description field and select an indication from the Proc Nebulizer category on the diagnosis search window.
