Update Provider Access Settings
On the
Template Defaults Setup
system template, select a row from the grid in the
Currently Available Template Default Sets
section.
The existing provider access settings associated with the selected set appear in the grid in the
Provider Access
section.
Select a row in the grid under the
Provider Access
section.
The data in the selected row appear in the corresponding fields below the grid.
Right-click and select
Open
.
The
Default Providers
template opens.
Make the necessary changes in the fields.
Click
Save
and then click
Close
.

Manage Provider Access
The Provider Access section displays the provider access information for the template default set selected in the grid under the Currently Available Template Default Sets section. The fields below the grid enable you to view or update the provider access settings. On the Template Default Setup system template, select a row from the grid in the Currently Available Template Default Sets section. The existing provider access settings associated with the selected set appear in the Provider Access grid. Click the Last Name field and select a provider last name from the list. The First Name and the Middle fields are automatically populated. To enable access for this provider only, click Add. To enable access to all providers for the current set, click Add ALL. Enter Template Default Set Values
The Template Default Set Values section displays the default values assigned to the set. The fields below the Template Default Set Values grid are used to assign default values to specific fields in the default set. Select a row from the grid in the Currently Available Template Default Sets section. The existing default values associated with the selected set appear in the grid under the Template Default Set Values section. To add a new default value in the Template Default Set Values section: Click the Template Name field and select a template from the list. Click the Field Name field to select a field from the list. In the Default Value field, enter a new default value. Click the Add Value button. The newly added value appears in the grid under the Template Default Set Values section. To update an existing default value: Highlight a grid row to modify. The data displays in the corresponding fields below the grid. Make changes as need and click Update Value. Update a Provider’s Panel Defaults
You can update the panel defaults set for a provider. Select the provider in the grid. The providers name and current panel defaults fill the fields below the grid. Select any of the panel fields that you want to change. The MLTSprocTypeGrid picklist opens. Select the procedure type from the picklist and select OK. The panel field updates. Update an Order Set
On the Assessment Plan Customization template, choose a Display option to filter the grid under the Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section by the Current provider or All providers. Depending on how you configured the order set, select the Diagnosis Group, Provider, and/or Dept fields to select a value from the resulting list. Select the order set to be modified in the Order Sets (My Plan / Custom Plan) grid.The Provider's Custom Plan template opens with the items included in the selected order set filled in for the different order types. Provider's Custom Plan window Make the required changes to the displayed order set. Select Save, and then select Close.The updated data displays in the grid. Edit a Template Default Set
You can edit an existing template default set in the grid in the Currently Available Template Default Sets section. Note: A NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine upgrade overwrites any modifications to the original default sets that are packaged as a part of the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. Before a template default set is modified, it is recommended that you create a copy of the existing set and make customizations to the new set. Double-click a row in the grid in the Currently Available Template Default Sets section.The Template Default Sets - [record # of total # ] template opens. Access the Template Defaults Setup System Template
From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window appears. In the Show section, select All to see a list of system templates. To access the Template Defaults Setup template, do one of the following: Double-click Template Defaults Setups.
