Remove a Payer Configuration

You can remove configured exam levels for a payer on the 95 payer configuration template. In the Configured Payer(s) grid, select a payer. Select Remove.The configuration for the selected payer no longer appears in the Configured Payer(s) grid. The payer moves back to the Payer(s) Available grid. Configure 95 Strict Numeric Exam Levels by Payer

When you select the Strict Numeric option for 95 Coding Guidelines, you can configure all exam levels for each payer on the 95 Exam Payer Configuration template. Note: Payer configurations on the 95 Exam Payer Configuration template supersede all other coding configurations. Open the Practice Configuration template. In the E&M Coding section, select the 95 Coding Guidelines option. For the 95 PE Exam Calculation Method, select the Strict Numeric option.The 95 Exam Payer Configuration link becomes active. Select 95 Exam Payer Configuration.The 95 Exam Payer Configuration template opens. 95 Exam Payer Configuration template To review the 95 Exam payer information, select the information icon. In the Payer(s) Available section, select a payer and then select the right arrow to move the payer to the Payer(s) Selected section. Enter the number for each Physical exam level in the fields for Body areas/organ systems. Note: The defaults are 1 as the lowest possible value and 12 as the highest

Strict Numeric Exam Method for 95 Coding Guidelines

The Strict Numeric exam method for the 95 Coding Guidelines includes the following calculations: Problem Focus - One body area or organ system Expanded Problem Focus - Two to four body areas or organ systems Detailed - Five to seven body areas or organ systems Comprehensive - Eight or more organ systems Two configuration options are available: 95 Complete Exam - Configure the coding thresholds for a 95 Single System Complete Exam to be used by all payers. 95 Exam Payer Configuration - Customize the coding thresholds for all exam levels for specific payers. Change Exam Display Order

You can change the order the exams display in the provider’s custom navigation pane. On the Specialty Nav Config system template, expand the Provider Custom Sidebar panel. Provider Custom Sidebar panel on the Specialty Nav Config template Select the desired category and provider. Select the exam from the right grid. Update Test Type

Open the OB Test Name Configuration template. In the OB Test Name panel, select the record you need to update in the Test Equivalents grid. The test type and test description are available for update. Modify the values as required, and click Update. The updated values appear in the Test Equivalents grid. Save and close the template. Review and Configure 95 Detailed Numeric Exam Coding Thresholds

You can configure coding thresholds for body areas and organ systems under the 95 coding guidelines detailed numeric method. Open the Practice Configuration template. In the E&M Coding section, select the 95 Coding Guidelines option. For the 95 PE Exam Calculation Method, select the Detailed Numeric option. 95 Details in E&M Coding section Select 95 Coding Thresholds.The 95 Detailed Exam Coding Thresholds section appears. 95 Detailed Exam Coding Thresholds Review the default number of documented elements.
