Test the DHPI Test Codes in Care Guidelines
- On the Intake template, set the Specialty to Family Practice and the Visit Type to Office Visit.
 - Click the Care Guidelines link to open the Care Guidelines template.
 - Click Add/Update in the Care Guidelines section. 
   The Activate Care Guidelines template appears.
 - Click the Condition field and select a value from the corresponding list. 
   Select Hypertension.
 - Click the Diagnosis field to select any value, click Add and then click Save & Close.
   On the Care Guidelines template, notice that there are several orders in the grid marked as due, including the ECG order.
 - Click OK.
 - On the Intake tab, click the Procedures sub-navigational link.
 - In the Other section, click EKG.
 - Select the Normal tracing check box at the top of the EKG Interpretation template.
 - At the bottom of the template, click the Assessment field to select any value, and then enter a Status.
 - Click the Submit to Superbill button. 
   A Charges Submitted check box appears. This action adds an order to the order_ table with a status of completed and submits the charges for the ECG procedure to the Procedures module.
 - Click Save & Close to return to the Procedures template.
 - Click Save and then click Close to return to the Intake template.
 - On the Intake template, click the Care Guidelines link. 
   Notice that the ECG order is no longer in the grid.
 - Click the Care Guidelines History link.
 - On the Care Guidelines History template, the ECG record appears in the grid with a Status of completed. The order is found because the following is true: 
   
- The Protocol data set named Hypertension contains several orders. One of those orders is ECG.
 - The ECG order is mapped to the ECG order in the Test Codes data set.
 - The ECG entry in Test Codes is mapped to several synonyms, one of them being EKG.
 - The EKG order is found in the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine order_ table on the patient’s chart.
 
This process occurs for all of the protocol orders.
